 After a 20 hour labor, c-section, and 3 day hospital stay, I was grateful to come home to a gift basket from my mom filled with crackers, cookies, pudding, and other snacks. I was a little confused to see some GoGo squeeZ AppleApple packets (product received for review) included. My friends with older kids swear by these, but I was pretty sure the little guy wasn’t going to be eating them for a while. I put them aside and forgot all about them as I settled into motherhood for the first time. The funny thing about breastfeeding a newborn is that you’re constantly starving, but can never remember to eat. I spent a lot of time nursing in a rocking chair feeling guilty about getting cracker crumbs all over my baby’s head. One day, I reached in to the basket and pulled out a GoGo squeeZ. It was delicious, nutritious, and (best of all) I could eat it with one hand without making a mess. They quickly became my go-to snack and made the first months bearable. They come in a variety of flavors, so I never got bored of them. My favorite is Apple Mango.
I try to eat the right things since I’m breastfeeding. GoGo squeeZ is made from all natural ingredients. The fruit is from US orchards and farms. No GMO’s and all vegan. The process of making the fruit sauces is based in the USA as well. It is helping our citizens earn money – over 200 jobs in the Traverse City, Michigan area. I can’t find one thing to worry about!
